How do I register for a class? 

You can register online via this link.  Of course, you can also call us (404-956-9919) or email us (info@thao.us) to setup your private cooking class for a minimum of 6 persons. 

 

What is the policy in case of cancellation?

Registration for a class can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the start of the class to receive a full refund.  Or you may select to send someone else in your place, but please let us know.

No refund or exchanges will be given for cooking class registration that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the class.

Thảo LLC reserves the right to cancel any class failing to attract sufficient enrollment or due to the chef’s illness. In such case, we will contact you by email or phone and issue a full refund. 

 

What is the minimum and maximum number of persons for a cooking class?

We can accommodate up to 8 participants, with a minimum of 6 persons.

  

What if I have food allergies or special dietary restrictions?

When registering advise if you or anyone in your group has a particular food allergy or dietary restriction.  We will try to make adjustments to suit any special dietary needs within the restrictions of the menu.

It is the every participant’s responsibility to pay careful attention to the meals being prepared and to be aware of any dietary restrictions.   

Please note that our kitchen is NOT a gluten-free or nut-free environment!

 

Is there anything I need to bring to class? 

Beside your favorite apron, nothing.   All food ingredients are provided along with all the necessary kitchen "utensils". A print-out of all the recipes prepared during the class will be provided to the participants at the beginning of the class.

 

What about left overs? 

Very rarely any leftovers will be equally split between participants to take home.

 

What should I expect timing wise?

The teaching part lasts 2 to 3 hours, unless otherwise noted.  After the meal prep, participants sit together at the dining table and enjoy eating the prepared dishes.  You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish!

And don’t forget that you will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class.
